BHA build suggestions.
Hey guys,
I recently have been messing around more on my ranger and wanted to try and create a working broadhead arrow build. Please give me some suggestions/comments.
R/Me
Marksmanship (12+1+2)
Expertise (12+1)
Wilderness survival (3, useless)
Survivor/vitae on all armor
Broad head arrow
Poison tip signet
Epidemic
Distracting shot
Savage shot
I am the strongest
Rapid fire
Antidote signet
Usage:
rapid fire, poison tip, I am the strongest before aggro
BHA with longbow, switch to recurve
Epidemic whomever I hit if they have adjacent allies
Interrupt to shit any important casters/bosses.
Rinse and repeat.
Thanks.

Well, apart from "IATS" you have no damage skills, it's just a condition spreader, so if I were you I would focus on just that. Some bleeding or w/e plenty of choice in the ranger skill line...

I find savage redundant , BHA is for daze and daze is to interrupt casters so take out savage for YMLAD and watch your energy . That KD and cripple will grant you many hits , another condition and snare.

Why? The Silencing mod is not needed since the duration of the condition is long enough to match the recharge time, but the recharge is too short to spam the skill on several foes (not to mention the energy cost).
And concerning the long bow, if you wanna have a long range, you'd rather take a flatbow: it won't make any difference with the arc of BHA and you hit faster. Personnally I'd go with a shortbow just to make sure I'm close enough to the target to reduce the risk of being dodged, but it's a matter of taste.

Thanks everyone for the comments so far.
Changes I have made:
Broad head arrow
Poison tip signet
Epidemic
Needling shot
Sloth hunters shot
YMLAD
Rapid fire
Antidote signet
YMLAD is awesome for setting up poison tip > broadhead arrow > epidemic chain. Just did a few stacked zbounties in hm and had no trouble with casters.

He's using Epidemic to spread the dazed; the lengthened duration will be passed on to all adjacent foes.

Bows have a somewhat unfavorable attack speeds for providing the hits needed for interrupts. Call me crazy, but I'd split some stats between axe/sword, bow and expertise (wilderness survival for apply poison, if you're feeling silly, but you already have a cover). Take a shortbow, throw up the daze, stance and take up the frontline.

Frontlining is for frontliners. If your team doesn't have any melee to take advantage of daze (not that you wouldn't have them anyway) you're doing something wrong.
